Tom LeBlanc CSL

Owner of Watch City Kitchens & LeBlanc Contracting

Tom has been working in the construction industry since he was 10 years old. He is still involved in his family’s third generation electrical company and is a licensed electrician. Tom attended University of Lowell where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology. He founded LeBlanc Contracting in 1994 and started Watch City Kitchens in 2008.

Tom has a passion for learning and has attended business school and frequents industry-related seminars and conferences. Tom was born and raised in Waltham and continues to live there with his wife and three children. Tom loves running, hiking, hockey and participating in races. He looks forward to summer vacations with his family at their summer cottage in Canada.

Anna Mahan CKBD

Lead Designer

Anna has been in the design industry since 2000. She originally graduated from Merrimack College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and spent several years in several positions in the financial sector. Her passion for design led her to the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University (NESAD), where she received a graduate certificate in Interior Design. While at NESAD, Anna won first place in the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) Student Design Competition.

Since earning her certificate, Anna has fully immersed herself in the design world; she has been an adjunct faculty member at both the New England School of Art & Design and Boston Architectural College for several years and served on the Board of the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s New England Chapter. Before becoming the lead designer at Watch City Kitchens, Anna gained experience in commercial interior design and project management. Anna lives in Woburn with her husband and three kids. She loves her large extended family, the ocean, yoga, gardening, and working on her home.   

Janet Lyons AKBD

Designer

Janet came to the world of kitchen and bath design from a very different one: Bio Technology. Different as the two fields might seem, they share two important traits for success in those fields; one needs to be precise, and one needs to be creative.

Janet combines these two traits with her lifetime love, no, obsession with cooking, baking and all things kitchen related. After renovating her own kitchen several years ago, she knew she had found her dream career. She attended the Boston Architecture College and obtained a certificate in kitchen and bath design, and subsequently her AKBD certificate.

Janet is now the resident baker, as well as one of the designers at Watch City Kitchens. When not hard at work, Janet lives in the suburbs west of Boston with her husband, dog and 2 cats. 

Carleen Hart CSL

HR & Office Manager

Carleen graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a BS in Construction Engineering Technology and has applied her education to a career of property management, construction supervision and real estate brokering. She joined the team at WatchCity Kitchens in 2013. Carleen, a life-long resident of Waltham, has three kids and enjoys attending all of their various sporting events. She also likes to read, go for walks/hikes and relishes time in her family’s cottage on White’s Pond in Concord.

Patty Campbell

IT & Office Manager

Patty received both a BS in Business Administration, MIS Concentration from the University of Lowell and a MS Computer Information Systems from Bentley College. She then began working at WatchCity Kitchens in 2014. Patty lives in Waltham with her husband, 2 children, 1 dog and 2 cats.  Her life is busy with 2 teenagers, their activities and the college application process. Patty’s happy place is at her family cottage on White’s Pond in Concord. She also enjoys walking the dog and spending time with her family.

Damaris Figueroa

Executive Assistant

Damaris is the first friendly face you see in our showroom! Damaris always wanted to be in business; she attended the American University of Puerto Rico and received a BBA in business administration with a major in General Management. Damaris started working at Watch City Kitchens in 2010 as a part time staff helper/receptionist and worked her way up to executive assistant. She lives on the south shore with her husband and son. When she is not at work she enjoys Zumba, family cookouts and Christmas in Puerto Rico.

Jose Palhares

Project Manager

Jose has been working at LeBlanc Contracting for 11 years! Prior to his time here he went to college for editing of digital media and welding. He is a certified Hydraulic Installer, so it makes sense that Jose loves to invent or modify anything with wheels. He loves his job because it allows him to practice the latest styles and techniques of construction in his 1940’s home while updating and creating equity. Jose and his family, including his 4 year old son, live in Waltham.

Lead Carpenter

Seth has spent a quarter of a decade in construction, doing mostly carpentry. He graduated from carpentry school at the head of his class and has done everything from rehabbing an 1800 farm house to installing cherry paneling in a library. To Seth, carpentry is more of a hobby and a passion and he is thankful to have a job doing what he loves.  Seth resides in Chelmsford, MA with his wonderful wife, 1 year old son and his Boston Terrier whose nickname is “Crazy”.

Kara Tynan

Financial Consultant

Kara graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accountancy and then continued on to earn her MBA. She joined the team at Watch City Kitchens & LeBlanc Contracting in 2016 and loves what she does as it gives her the flexibility to do all the things she loves to do with her family. Kara lives in New Hampshire with her husband and 3 kids.  She volunteers in the schools and as a cheer coach for her daughters and enjoys being active and outside.
